A new step in the commitments we have been building since 2010 to make quality silk more accessible, with controlled costs and margins calculated as fairly as possible.

Our silk scarves and squares made in France are crafted by APF Entreprises 64 in Sauvagnon, in the Béarn region, just 500 meters from our offices located in Serres-Castet.

This choice of proximity is above all a human choice. The workshop promotes the employment of people with disabilities and embeds the crafting of this collection in a concrete solidarity-based approach.

For Maison de la Soie, producing as close as possible to our offices also allows us to create a direct link with those who participate in the making of our products. Behind every scarf and every square are movements, expertise, and women and men whom we are proud to associate with our story.

It is this reality that our signature summarizes "Made in France & socially responsible" : a few words to denote a local, human, and tangible commitment.

Since the creation of Maison de la Soie in 2010, we have pursued the same ambition: making quality silk accessible to as many people as possible. To achieve this, we work on optimizing our costs and calculating our margins as tightly as possible, so that the price reflects the quality of the product above all else.

With this collection made in France, we wanted to go further. The cost of manufacturing that is both French and socially responsible is naturally different, but we have chosen to voluntarily reduce our margins to a minimum in order to maintain a price that is as fair as possible.

These silk products are therefore not the most profitable items in our catalog, and we fully stand by this. Because with this collection, we prefer to prioritize social impact over financial performance.
