Why choose a Maison de la soie silk duvet?
The filling of our silk duvets is made up of long, hand-extracted A-grade silk fibers (mechanically-extracted silk fibers are short, damaged and have very limited thermal properties). There's a small zipper on one side so you can see the quality of the silk used.
Manual production which consists in stretching and superimposing a multitude of fine silk webs, results in a uniform filling without excessive over-stitching and therefore without thermal bridges.
The envelope is supple, soft, resistant and silent. It is carefully crafted in a beautiful 100% cotton jacquard of 120 threads/cm² with an elegant vegetal pattern - 300 TC.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 standard issued to our garment manufacturer ensures that our products are free from substances undesirable to health and the skin.
Flexibility and lightness of our silk duvets make them enveloping, limiting thermal bridges and improving blood circulation.
The ties on the sides and corners of our duvets enable you to combine them with another duvet to create a warm winter duvet.

Care
Practical in use, There's no need to wash your comforter or pillow, as silk is naturally healthy. Two airings a year are enough to regenerate the silk and replenish the filling. There's no need to shake them every morning, as the filling is uniform and fixed.

Extrêmement déçue. Les 2 couettes ensembles sont trop lourdes. Elles manquent de gonflant et surtout elle ne se lavent pas !!!!
Une simple aération 2 fois par an suffirait à leur rendre le gonflant .... Ce qui implique d'avoir un extérieur.
D'autre part, elles finissent par se salir se qui les rends désagréables. Je les aies depuis plusieurs années, je peux donc en parler en toutes connaissances de cause.

Couettes de qualité, souplesse, douceur, légèreté, confort, chaleur
Belle couette de qualité, légère, confortable, chaude. Je ne l'utilise que depuis 3 jours et j'ai mis uniquement la couette demi-saison pour l'instant, car il ne fait pas encore très froid (novembre). Le confort par rapport à une couette synthétique est incomparable. Avec une couette en synthétique, mes pieds avaient du mal à se réchauffer (syndrome de Raynaud) et restaient froids très longtemps, avec cette couette en soie, pas de problème ! Esthétique, belle finition. La solution d'une couette été + une couette mi-saison est très judicieuse de même que les liens pour les attacher : simple et efficace. A mon sens, nettement au-dessus d'une couette en synthétique (cela va de soi) et même d'une en duvet, les qualités de la soie sont largement supérieures à bien des égards. Du moins si les fibres de soie mises à l'intérieur sont de bonne qualité.
