19-momme solid silk scarves made in France
To this printed collection, we have now added our 19-momme solid silk scarves made in France, designed for those looking for an understated, elegant, and easy-to-pair accessory. The density of this silk gives it a more generous feel and a beautiful drape, while maintaining the fluidity and luster characteristic of the material.
These scarves are made in France, just a few hundred meters from our offices in Serres-Castet, in a sheltered workshop committed to employing people with disabilities. Cutting, assembly, and finishing are thus carried out locally, with special care given to each piece.
Available in several solid colors, these small scarves allow you to play with color while maintaining the natural elegance of silk. Around the neck, in the hair, on the wrist, or tied to a bag, they easily adapt to your moods and the seasons.
Two qualities of silk, two styles
Our small printed scarves are made from 12-momme grade 6A OEKO-TEX® certified mulberry silk. Fine and light, this silk offers a particularly soft touch, a fluid drape, and a delicate shine. The OEKO-TEX® certification attests that the textile has been tested according to the criteria of the standard for harmful substances.
Our solid scarves made in Franceare crafted from a 19-momme silk. Denser, it offers more substance while maintaining the flexibility and luminosity sought after in a silk accessory.
This diversity allows you to choose your scarf according to the desired style: the finesse of a Japan-inspired print or the timeless elegance of a denser solid silk.
How to wear a small silk scarf?
The small size of the silk scarf makes it easy to vary the ways you wear it. Tied around the neck, it adds an elegant touch to a shirt, sweater, or jacket. In the hair, it can accompany a ponytail, a bun, or be used as a headband. It can also be tied around the handle of a bag or worn on the wrist to add a more discreet touch of color.
Solid or printed, the small silk scarf thus becomes an accessory that is easy to reinterpret with any outfit.
Why choose a Maison de la Soie silk scarf?
Maison de la Soie selects its materials with rigor in order to offer elegant accessories that are pleasant to wear and designed to last.
