Silk thread is composed of 2 proteins: fibroin and sericin. Fibroin is fibrous and lies at the heart of the silk thread. It is surrounded by sericin, an agglutinating substance.

Fibroin Fibroin: Its composition, similar to that of collagen and keratin, enables it to be more easily assimilated by the skin. It has strong moisturizing properties. It also has the ability to penetrate the skin quickly and deeply, without leaving a greasy film on the face.

Sericin Sericin is hydrophilic, providing intense hydration. It optimizes collagen production and improves skin elasticity. Sericin also promotes the production of hyaluronic acid. Naturally present in our bodies, this molecule has a moisturizing, plumping and anti-aging action.
